Sabretache 1885 - 1901

The basic colour of the sabretache for the 20th Hussars was still crimson although this reproduction makes it appear scarlet. The same basic pattern is used but with the addition of a second battle honour. SUAKIN 1885 was at first placed beneath the PENINSULA scroll but later arranged as seen here. This was the final pattern adopted and lasted until November 1901 when sabretaches were abolished. VIMIERA was added to the drum banners but did not appear on the sabretaches.
