One of the excellent prints published by Spooner in the 1830s. The bell-topped shako has a plume. The coat is the same as the 1830 Cowell pattern. In summer, white trousers were worn but the rest of the year they wore light blue-grey overalls with a red stripe. He has the first pattern belt plate (see Belt plates).
