No 1 Dress Tunic, c1910

Squadron Quartermaster Sergeant (SQMS) Jackson wears the blue no 1 dress tunic with silver chain-mail shoulders. His high non-commissioned rank entitles him to the officer style embroidered collar badges instead of the other ranks white metal version. Jackson was a trumpeter in 1891, rising to sergeant-trumpeter in 1900. He was appointed RSM in the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry.
