Officer's Uniform, c1839

In 1830 the jacket was changed to red and the lace and braid to gold. The turnbacks of the jacket are white. The pouch has a William IV cypher in gilt on the silver flap. For all the other light dragoon regiments the red jackets lasted until c1843 when Queen Victoria changed them back to blue but the 11th were in hussar dress by then.
