Field Officer c1795

The 50th had black velvet facings with silver lace. The coats were fastened only towards the top, showing a white waistcoat. After 1796 the coats began to be fastened down to the waist. Flank company officers had silver wings on their shoulders while the battalion company officers had silver epaulettes, one on the right shoulder only for junior officers and one on each shoulder for majors and above.
