Gurkha Hat

In 1994 a company of Gurkhas was placed on the establishment of the Royal Scots. This was the result of the amalgamation of the Gurkha regiments to form the Royal Gurkha Rifles. There was a surplus of men and 3 Companies were formed and each was placed in a British regiment. B Company wear the uniform of Gurkhas but have the Hunting Stewart tartan flash behind their badge. This is worn on the hat as seen here, and the rifle green beret that they wear in undress.
