Staff Sergeant and Major 1897


The Staff Sergeant is in full dress. His scarlet tunic with blue facings had gold cord instead of the yellow on the men's tunics. He has brown leather pouchbelt and waistbelt but is not wearing his sword. The officer is Major Evans in undress He has a blue undress frock with his full dress brown leather pouchbelt. There is a gilt crown rank badge on his shoulder straps. His blue pillbox cap has a gold lace headband of maple leaf design. The blue breeches have a gold stripe and the boots are black.
