Corps of Guides

Collar of British Officer's Uniform

The collar is edged with 1" beige silk lace and traced with silk Russia braid. The shoulder cords are also of beige silk. They have a single crown in the middle to denote the rank of major. At the shoulder end is an olivet button with an Austrian knot figure going down the sleeve.
