Corps of Guides

Cuff of British Officer's Uniform

The drab coloured material is decorated with beige silk cord. The figuring is in the style of a Bengal knot. After 1902 the figuring was the same for all ranks of officer. The red velvet cuff matches the collar. Next to the cuff is a sword sling of brown leather with silver chain gimp along each edge.
