10th Gurkhas

Officer, 1997

This picture was taken when the 3/RGR were in London in 1997. The officers do not wear the red tourie like the other ranks. There is a red line around the base of his collar, a distinction of the former 2nd Gurkhas that was taken into use by the amalgamated regiment. His chains are attached to a ram's head siver device on his pouchbelt; another inheritance from the 2nd Gurkhas.
