The officer is on the right with a Sam Browne belt and sword. There are three lance-naiks, the rest are sepoys. The three seated men are using their kukris for whittling. Their percussion rifles are stacked. They all wear service dress. The tourie on top of their Kilmarnock caps must be of the same khaki colour as the cap.
