British Officer 1905

British officers had two types of dress uniform, the European lancer style as worn by Capt Dawson and the Indian style worn when parading with the men. The white collar is quite high at this date and the badge on the belt plate looks a little different to the badge shown on the earlier Indian officers' belts. The Pouchbelt is gold laced with white silk stripe.
