Skinner's Horse

Officer's Full Dress (Lungi)

The lungi was what the cavalry called the turban worn by both British and Indian officers. It was of black cloth with gold woven srtipes, wound round a red and gold kullah. On the right is a view of the paloo that hung down the back.
