104th Wellesley's Rifles

Subadar-Major, 1909

The regiment had at an earlier time been brigaded with the 60th Rifles (later The King's Royal Rifle Corps) and were impressed with the dark green uniforms with red facings. They sought permission to abopt this colouring for themselves and were granted it. The pouchbelt ornamets are very similar to the 4th (see Pouchbelt Ornaments pre-1903)
