130th Baluchis

British Officer, 1912

This watercolour by Simkin shows a very dark green full dress tunic with five rows of black silk cord across his chest with matching lace and braid round the edges of the red collar and cuffs. The overalls are red with no stripe and his black helmet is fitted with bronze spike, badge and chin-chain. His pouchbelt is brown leather with silver badge, chains, whistle and honour scrolls.
