This print by Simkin is of a Sikh of th 20th in full marching order, His full dress tunic is faced with green and the collar and cuffs edged in white. The equipment is of brown leather while his haversack and waterbottle are slung across his chest. His baggy knickerbockers are tucked into gaiters and his wears Indian style shoes.
