2nd Punjab Infantry

Group Photo, 1890

This group are all officers except the bass drummer and an elderly NCO in a dark uniform near the left. The other dark uniform on the right is worn by the medical officer. Either side of the three central British officers (see Detail) are two senior Indian officers wearing the Order of British India round their necks and next to them are two junior British officers showing us the hussar style boots and breeches with drab silk stripes and black light between.
