Royal Artillery Letterhead Crests

In an era of letter writing and official correspondence being the main form of communication, the use of letterhead crests and monograms was widespread through many branches of government and the armed forces. Recipients often collected these letterheads and collated them into collections. Below you can see an advertisement for an album in which to collect and store such crests. Both images kindly contributed by Ron Marsden.
