Ferrets, 1961



The 11th were sent to Kuwait to help the country against the threat of invasion from Iraq. They were stood down in the end when no invasion materialised, but they did experience heat of up to 136 degrees Farenheit inside their armoured cars. Thankfully, no-one was hospitalised for heat-stroke or sunburn.
