Sabretache, 1827

This version of the 11th Light Dragoons officer's sabretache is more sophisticated than the early style. It is still basically silver, the train lace round the edge, and the reverse George IV cypher are silver, but the crown is gold with red velvet. The ground is dark blue cloth. The silver edged battle honours have crimson velvet, upon which is embroidered the battle honours in gold. WATERLOO and PENINSULA were awarded in 1815, BHURTPORE in December 1826. The battle honour of EGYPT is not included for some reason.
