Captain E H Stocker




Edgar Henry Stocker was commissioned into the 13th Hussars on 12th Sep 1903. He was promoted to Lieutenant on 13th Jan 1905 appointed as adjutant on 4th May 1909 and reached Captain on 23rd June 1909. He served in India from 1904 until 4th July 1909 when he relinquished his job as adjutant to take up the post as extra ADC to the governor of Bombay. He returned to his regiment on 7th Dec 1909. He fought in France and Mesopotamia through World War 1. In 1916 he served as a staff officer in Brigade HQ in the newly formed Imperial Camel Corps.
