Henry Doherty CB


Henry Edward Doherty was at the battle of Ramnaggur in November 1848. He led the 14th Light Dragoons out of the Sikh entrenchments after the mortal wounding of Colonel Havelock. He was with the regiment throughout the Second Sikh War, fighting in all the major engagements. He was married to Beatrice Katharine Louisa Simcoe.
