Hussar Officer's Sabretache 1807

This item is a puzzle. It is scarlet with a silver lace edge. The lace is of a similar pattern to the 1810 version but the style of cypher and crown are different. There are no battle honours which is strange because if any cavalry regiment deserved to have battle honours at this time, it was the 15th. It could have been the first design of the newly converted hussars, or a rejected experimental 'pilot'.
