3rd Dragoon Guards


Major F M Wardrop



Commissioned into the 3rd DG as a cornet in 1869, he served in the Egyptian campaign of 1882 and went on to command the 21st Lancers in 1887. He died in 1895 at the age of 48. He wears aiguilettes in his capacity as ADC to Sir Garnet Wolseley. His medals are the Egypt Medal with clasp, the Medjidie Order (4th Class) and the Khedive's Star.
