| This photo of the Standard Party marching in front of the regiment shows the Squadron Sergeant-Major carrying the Standard, escorted by two Rough-Rider Sergeants with drawn swords. The regiment had 13 battle honours at that time, the last one being BEAUMONT which was awarded in 1909, one hundred and fifteen years after the battle (1794). For some reason the unfortunate officer riding behind the party is not wearing his helmet. |
