| The new Standard for the amalgamated regiments was presented at a ceremony in Colchester on 18th March 1938. The Squadron Sergeant-Major holding the Standard wears the gold lace belt of the 5th Dragoon Guards while the other WO has the striped belt of the 6th Inniskilling Dragoons. The honours on this side of the Standard are now 17 while the other side would have the combined honours of WW1. |
