7th Hussars

Band in India 1912

In 1911 the 7th went to India to be stationed at Bangalore. Their summer uniform was white with a white Wolseley sun helmet. The band wore wings on their shoulders and the trumpeters had a more formal arrangement of their bugle cords with tassels hanging from the left shoulder. They have white pouch-belts and dark coloured waist-belts. Another band from an Indian regiment marches behind them and the mounted regiment can be seen further back.
