Band, 1930

The commanding officer, Lt-Col D Pope MC sits in the middle behind the bass drum. Next to him is Major T G Watson and on the other side is Bandmaster E P Courtnell who appears to be a warrant officer as his tunic buttons to the neck whereas the officers have lapelled tunics. All three have jodhpurs and riding boots and the men have puttees. Although they are in khaki service dress the men wear white leather pouch-belts on their left shoulders. The white leather pouch on their backs is larger than the ammunition pouch that used to be worn, and it contains sheet music. The drum banners are the same as the ones on Drumhorse 1927.
