NCO's Arm Badges

The lion and crown Royal Crest badge was worn by NCOs of the 15th Hussars from 1888, although as a metal badge. The tradition continued into the 15th/19th Hussars and has been passed on to the Light Dragoons. Metal badges are no longer worn, but the left hand woven badge is worn above the chevrons on the upper right arm with no.2 dress and the wire-embroidered version on the right is worn on the upper right arm of the no.1 dress. The badge is not worn by Lance Corporals or Warrant Officers.
