Standard Party 1914

The Standard of the Queen's Bays is carried by a Squadron Sergeant-Major and escorted by two sergeants who have drawn swords. The ranks of the escorting sergeants are not special to the appointment as Colour-Sergeants are in the infantry. The regiment are parading through Aldershot in 1914, only months before fighting in France in their khaki service dress.
