Cavalry Charge at Warburg

The Bays are seen here from the point of view of the 3rd Dragoon Guards who were on their left. They are recognisable from their buff facings. An officer is out in front of them and in the distance the small figure of the Marquess of Granby in Blues uniform, on a black horse. This painting by Joan Wanklyn was commissioned 200 years after Warburg, by the 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards and hangs in the Officer's Mess.
