| The battle honours now include Dettingen, Egypt 1882 and Tel-el-Kebir (see detail). Dettingen was fought in 1743 but for reasons unclear to me the battle honour was not awarded until 1882. I don't know if any shabraque exists with the two original honours and Dettingen on their own, but in 1883 the regiment was awarded the two Egyptian battle honours. |
