Officer's Shabraque, 1912

After the Boer War the Blues were awarded the following battle honours: South Africa 1899-1902, Paardeburg, Relief of Kimberley and Relief of Ladysmith. To these were added three more 'old' honours for battles fought in the 18th century: Warburg (1760), Beaumont (20th April 1794) and Willems (10th May 1794).
