Officer, Spooner Print 1832

The Spooner Upright series of prints included three of the Scots Greys. This one is no.18 and shows an officer galloping with the regiment in the background. The uniform agrees with the standing figure by Drahonet and this gives clear information on the horse furniture. The bridle is drawn in detail and the shabraque covering the area behind the saddle has the embroidered cypher of King William IV, as does the sabretache.
