The Eagle in 2015

Trooper Ritchie of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards holds the precious relic of 1815, to place it on display in the National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh, alongside the Eagle of the 105th which was captured by the Royal Dragoons at Waterloo, normally kept at the National Army Museum in London. The two Eagles were displayed together for two weeks in May 2015 two hundred years after they were captured. The men in the background are the officer Eagle-Bearer and warrant officer escort.
