| This photo was published in the Bulletin of the Military Historical Society in 1959. The back view of the Eagle is not so well known. The number 45 is on the front but the back is plain. This shows that the Eagle was made in 1815 rather than being one of the original 1805 Eagles which had the word INFANTERIE or DRAGONS etc. |
