| When the Scots Greys amalgamated with the Carabiniers in 1971 they were entitled to the square shaped Standard instead of the swallow-tailed guidon. The Standard Party parade their new regimental Standard past the ranks of the combined unit wearing dress uniform which has yellow facings instead of blue. |
