Officer's Pouch 1820-30

The uniform and accoutrements of Major Wemyss included his dress pouchbelt and pouch. The illustration is based on that pouch and shows details of the embroidery. The Guelphic crown and one of the acorns have been drawn to show them, whereas they actually follow the curve of the pouch flap. The Georgian cypher and battle honour are central and the space partially filled with oak leaves. The accompanying pouchbelt was covered by the ess and vellum pattern gold lace.
