William John Kerr, 5th Marquess of Lothian


The above picture is of William John as a Cornet of the 11th Dragoons aged just 17 in 1754. He wears the red coat with silver lace and small buff coloured tab on the collar. His crimson officer's sash is worn over the left shoulder.
