| The Battle honour MARTINIQUE was awarded on 19 Nov 1816, and inscribed on the belt plate design after that date. The Sphinx now has EGYPT on the label. The plate is silver with silver mounts. In 1822 the regiment became light infantry and would have added a stringed bugle to the badge. |
