Captain Lord Robert Kerr

Robert Kerr, a Scotsman, was killed by Jacobites whilst commanding the Grenadier Company of the KingÕs Own at Culloden. He was fighting in front of his men and failed to notice that they had been forced back, leaving him isolated. He was carrying a pike which he stuck into a highland officer. He could not pull it out and was cut to pieces by the enemy. He is seen here wearing civilian dress.
