Colours of The Queen's Own Buffs 1961

After the amalgamation of the East and West Kent Regiments in 1961 the Regimental Colour retained the buff background but the central device was the White Horse of Kent. The dragon was relegated to two corners and the royal crest was placed in the other two. The Queen's Colour had 35 battle honours. The 1st Battalion is indicated by the I numeral in the canton of both Colours.
