Lt-Col C D M Gall


Lt. Colonel Charles David Myers Gall served in the Afghan war in 1879-80, took part in the delence of Kandahar including the sortie of Deh Khojah, and was present at the battle of Kandahar (Medal with Clasp). Served in the Soudan campaign in 1885 (Medal with Clasp, and Khedive's Star). He commanded the 3rd Battalion Royal Fusiliers from April 1898, the date it was raised.
