Colonel Frederick Farquharson

Frederick Farquharson was the commanding officer of the 7th Royal Fusiliers from 1832 until 1850, a period of 18 years. His will is at the National Archives in Kew and dated 18th Feb 1857, although this does not indicate when he died. A list of officers of 1827 gives his rank in the regiment as Captain. A legacy of Mary Sarah Nasmyth, married to Thomas Nasmyth, mentions a daughter called Thomasina who was married to Lt Col Frederick Farquharson.
