Officer's Shoulder Belt Plate 1881


The shoulder belt, worn in full dress had this plate on the front. The star of the order of the Thistle with The Marquis of Huntly's crest in the middle and the Sphinx of the old 92nd above, and the Tiger of the old 75th below. This plate pattern was worn from 1881 to modern times, well over 100 years.
