Drummer Playing Fife c1910

An illustration from the sales catalogue of Henry Potter, supplier of musical instruments to the military. The drummer of the Grenadier Guards is here demonstrating the fife played as one of the instruments used by men and boys of the Corps of Drums. His fife case is attached to the front right side of his waistbelt and his drummers' sword hangs from the left side.
