Drum-Major, No.2 Dress 1994

The Guards undress for recent times is usually the khaki No.2 dress. The drum-major in this profile photo shows the steep angle of the forage cap peak as worn in the Guards regiments. But the most remarkable aspect of his uniform is the array of badges on his sleeve. At the top is the embroidered drum badge worn by musicians in the band and the Corp of Drums. Below that are badges worn by Warrant Officers Class 2 and can be seen in detail at NCO Badges 2005.
