The King's Royal Rifle Corps

HM King George V

This print was made of the Prince of Wales around 1904 at the time of his appointment as Colonel-in-Chief of the King's Royal Rifle Corps. The Duke of Cambridge had held the post for 35 years, but from 1904 onwards the monarch retained the Colonelcy.
