Officer's Forage Cap Badge c1890


The wreath and crown are of gold embroidery. The Victorian crown has red velvet cushions and the ermine is in silver. The antelope in the centre is silver with gilt coronet and chain, placed on blue enamel and surrounded by the garter in gilt metal. This badge is described in the Dress Regulations of 1883, 1891, 1894 and 1900.
