The Warwickshire Regiment

Band Lance-Corporal c1900

The dress uniform of this lance-corporal is scarlet with blue collar and blue jam-pot cuffs. The wings are red with white lace stripes. The collar badges are white metal antelopes, matching the badge on his white helmet, which in this case is on a patch of red. He has Sudan medals so he must be 1st Battalion. The belt is fastened with a brass circle clasp which has a Royal crest in the middle. Officers had a regimental clasp with the antelope badge. His buttons are embossed with the Royal Coat of Arms like all other enlisted men. His lance-corporal stripe is on the right upper sleeve and the two good conduct stripes are on the left lower sleeve just below the gold embroidered marksman's badge of crossed muskets.
